Who’s your favourite Warrior?

After weeks of waiting, I finally got my Soca Warriors shirt from Subside Sports. It’s the white away kit, because the red was sold out (as it continues to be, everywhere in London and most of the world).

Now I have to decide – whose name and number should I put on the back of it?

My fondness for Chris Birchall (7) is well established; I adore Carlos Edwards (11) for his athleticism, his flair and his writing skills; I’m a long-time fan of Brent Sancho (5) and I’m definitely enchanted by our number 10, the Little Magician himself.

What’s a girl to do? Any suggestions?

Hi stacy-marie. I just rec’d my Ecuador shirt today, and also had some name/number quandries myself. Went for El Nine 10.

Anyway, for T&T, if I were getting one, I’d go with Stern John, because of his wicked strike, but also because of his great name!

But you can’t can’t go wrong with Birchall’s 7.

Good luck tomorrow against Sweden, and maybe Ecuador and T&T will meet in the second round. (cross your fingers!)
