Warriors’ Friendlies Confirmed

February 2nd, 2006 | By: Stacy-Marie Ishmael | 1 Comment »

In addition to their game against Iceland on the 28th of this month, the Trinidad and Tobago national senior team will be squaring up against Peru on May 10th in Trinidad’s capital, Port of Spain. They will then play Wales in Austria on May 27th, before meeting the Slovenia on May 31st and the Czech Republic on June 3rd.

On top of this packed schedule, T&T coach Beenhakker is keen to schedule one more friendly before the World Cup kickoff. Beenhakker is currently running a 15-man training camp in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for aspiring national players. The camp includes both home and foreign based players, all of whom are hoping to impress the coach enough to secure them a place on the T&T World Cup squad.
