Wanted: Dwight Yorke
February 17th, 2006 | By: Stacy-Marie Ishmael | No Comments »
Everyone is talking about Dwight Yorke, who must be slightly stressed about his club’s title-deciding impending encounter with Adelaide FC. Stressed or nay, he’s also hugely in demand at the moment, with everyone from the Japanese J-League to Derby County FC in England, described by a charming English friend of mine as a “comedy regional team.” That’s a bit harsh, they are a Championship squad – albeit fifth from the bottom.
Skysports.com also reports that “several” Championship scouts will be at the Iceland game, keeping their eyes on the striker.
Very exciting. Updates as they happen.
