Game done, 1-1 final score, à demain mes chers (et mes chères).

Brilliant free kick by Kenwyne Jones, and we’ve equalised in the 75th. Cue me jumping up and down, french book in hand.

Jones and Scotland had come on for Stern and Yorke. Mix it up Beenie, mix it up.
Sancho off, Cox on.

Line up now as follows:

Kelvin Jack; Brent Sancho (Ian Cox 77th), Avery John, Dennis Lawrence (Captain since Yorke subbed), Cyd Gray, Aurtis Whitley, Russell Latapy (Colin Samuel 42nd), Chris Birchall (Densill Theobald 46th), Carlos Edwards (Silvio Spann 46th), Dwight Yorke (Jason Scotland 69th); Stern John (Kenwyne Jones 69th).

I really thought we would have won the match with Peru yesterday but our defense was weak and wide open. Our defense really needs to be stregthen before we go to Germany because we can’t have Dwight, Chris and Russel playing in a defensive position all time.

Have no fear my friend Dwight and Russel have no intention to play defensively in their first ever World Cup!…Trus meh…

The defence was not weak..
At no point except for the mix up at the back (one episode) did
Peru even remotely threaten our goal. Can’t you all see Beenhacker is trying to instill Dutch *possesion* football.
These games are about fine tuning certain things.
My problems are..

Our possesion is good..and its good to see Trinidad can hold on the ball…something that was NOT possible before.
But our build up play for whatever reason was very very slow..
however i believe with consecutive games that will change.
I was expecting a draw and it happened.
NO way the players are going to play at 100% risking injury.
Trinidad has lots of work and the result is no suprise to me.
If can get more clinical strikers.
Trinidad would be alot more effective.
