The Fighting Spirit of the Caribbean

Our ever efficient Fearless Leader has posted the list of the 32 slogans that will adorn the team buses in Germany this summer. The Warriors’ bus will pay tribute to our “fighting spirit.”

Although I’m rather fond of “vibes it up”,I have to admit that “The Fighting Spirit of the Caribbean” really does capture the Warrior ethos. All the articles that I’ve read about T&T so far - and believe me, that’s a lot of reading - have tended to adopt the “small brave nation” angle. Beenie & the boys have also made a point of emphasising that we’re not just going Germany tolime. We’re going to play football, and to do our country proud. Go brave, my Warriors.
