All right, George. You played for the winning England side in the 1966 World Cup. George Best said some nice things about you. You, like many people these days, seriously dislike Sven-Goran Eriksson.

But why, oh why, did you have to make the following statement:

“And let’s face it, we haven’t got to do a great deal to qualify for the latter stages have we? Trinidad and Tobago sounds like a cigarette company to me but all due respect to them, they will come out and give us a game. ”
