The T&T National Motto

Tomorrow. Tomorrow we play England. Tomorrow the Little Giants face up to the most overconfident squad in the tournament.

Can the Warriors tame the English Lions? Will we play the way that we did against Sweden – or, dare I say it – even better?

I don’t know what the outcome will be on Saturday. I dare not even attempt to predict what might happen.

But I – like millions of Soca Warriors supporters around the world – will wake up tomorrow morning with a lump in my throat and a heart full of hope.

Vibes it up, Soca Warriors. Vibes it up, T&T.

I am a Soca Warrior.

I have to escape England today though as its unbearable the past weeks with talk of metatarsals and beating T&T 6-0 etc.

So I will watch the match in New York tomorrow and hopefully head down to a West Indian bar later to celebrate.

Go T&T! You have made us so very proud already.
