No Rest for Yorke
After flying halfway around the world to help lead Trinidad and Tobago to a brilliant win over Iceland, Dwight Yorke has returned to Australia to take part in the A-League’s grand final tomorrow. The jetlagged and weary Yorke even took part in a training session with his Sydney FC team, just hours after flying 17,000 km. The return of Yorke was apparently followed closely by the Australian media who have fallen in love with the Soca Warriors star. A sellout crowd of 42,000 is expected to turn out for the championship match. I know nothing about Australian soccer, but I will wager that Dwight’s team wins and that he sleeps very well afterwards.
