$ for Soca Warriors
February 5th, 2006 | By: Stacy-Marie Ishmael | 1 Comment »
Scotiabank donted TTD $91,014 to the Trinidad & Tobago national senior team this week. The money was raised last November through a Scotia Bank promotion: the bank agreed to donate $1 for every ScotiaATM transaction conducted with the bank’s debit card.
It’s good to see corporate citizens helping the national team out. Of course, one always wonders where the line between corporate benevolence and shameless PR really lies.

Shameless PR would be purchasing rights on CCN and TTT to air their commercials solely during breaks in gametime.
And someone will do it.
The donation counts as a good thing.
