Dennis Lawrence: Definitely a Soca Warrior
Dennis Lawrence is a very good looking guy. More importantly, he scored the goal that sent the Warriors to the World Cup. There’s a well-written and comprehensive profile of the player at the FIFA World Cup website.
I rather like his modesty. When asked how his life has changed, Lawrence replied: “Basically it seems I’m a bit more known by a few people… People have told me I became something of a national hero back in Trinidad.”
