Defeated Again
Okay here we go again another defeat, well who should take the fall for this result, the coach or players frankly stating neither I think there was a good effort and again one got away. But this is the norm with the Soca Warriors over the past few months so instead of me wining and complaining, I will say “take it in stride boys and let go to Mexico and accept another defeat” and yes this is my blog for the next game against Mexico as the outcome will be the same, prove me wrong Soca Warriors!.

New Coach

As one that supported the removal of Mr Maturana, I wonder if the right choice was made. Laptapy or Latas as known to the local fans is that choice however the football pundits will tell you he has a lot of work ahead. This opportunity is great for Latas, I hope he ... [read more]
Beaten Again

The Soca Warriors got good licks again from the US, losing points which is very essential to us qualifying for SA 2010. This was the worst performance by this team, there seem to be no vision, plan or strategy developed for this match. I am blaming Maturana as well as his international ... [read more]
Lady Luck

Yes people at least we got a point with Lady Luck on our side. I will credit Mr Maturana on his formation but not the selection I totally dislike the midfield choices. Again I am left to figure out what is wrong with this team we have prolific strikers and cannot get ... [read more]
Selection and Formation

Our next opponent is Honduras forget their last game as this team was under strenght ,our Warriors
must be very careful and not take this team likely. The key in my opinion is team selection to ensure we get the right mix as well as formation I would like to see a 4-4-2 ... [read more]
Two Points Loss

As I watch our soccer team take the play to El Salvador and taught “wow” this would be an easy three points then came the second half for all but five mins that we performed a high level and then all downhill from there I said to my friends here we go ... [read more]

Ramon Calderon Says Cristiano Ronaldo Rejected Barcelona to Join Real Madrid
Thanks to ex-Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon's wonderful inability to keep quiet, we're slowly but surely learning more and more about Cristiano Ronaldo's transfer from Old Traffod to the Bernabéu last summer. Remember how someone at Real Madrid claimed the transfer was arranged a year in advance, in the summer ...
Manfield Town Are The Future
It's going to be impossible to do this without referencing Radiohead's album In Rainbows, which has sort of paved the mainstream way for "pay what you want" retail. From Wiki, for those in the blue: Days after announcing the album's completion, Radiohead released In Rainbows as a digital download that customers ...
Charge Your Cell Phone With a Soccer Ball

Robinho's Second Santos Debut, and Neymar's Paradinha Penalty
Robinho didn't disappoint on his second Santos debut, coming off the bench to score a Zola-esque near post flick of a winner vs São Paulo. Whatever you might think of the man who rides the Pelécopter, it's good to see such an entertaining footballer looking happy again. But don't worry, there's ...
Soccer and the Super Bowl, or: Football vs Football, or: Why Can't We All Just Get Along?
As I'm sure most of our American readers will know, today is Super Bowl XLIV (or Super Bowl 44, if you don't speak Roman numeral). Super Bowl Sunday is an easy excuse for us soccer fans to indulge ourselves by bashing the "other" football, reminding fans of said sport that ...
The Premier League takes an all-too-familiar turn
One of the nice things about this season in the Premier League has been that there has been a bit of a shift at the top. Partly due to Liverpool having a really bad first half of the season, and partly due to the clubs slightly ...
